Brother Knights,

I just wanted to personally thank everyone for helping out with the Fish Fry’s this Lenten season.  We served a record 1,606 people.  I believe that we also had a record with the amount of KC’s that we had helped out each night.  The record amount of help made these 300+ people nights run relatively smoothly.  Thanks again to everyone for being so generous with their time to support our council.

Our March council meeting was held on March 31st.  We discussed the follwong business items:

- Received thank-you notes from Pella Comm. Schools & COC.

- Reviewed fish fry results through the first 3 weeks.

- State Convention – April 8-10  Iowa City; delegates – Art & Todd

- 2nd & 3rd degree – Albia – May 15th

- Membership blitz – change date to April 9 & 10; Brian & Mike Linde to make presentations

- 1st degree ceremony prior to April council meeting

- Sate Fair Date – Aug. 14th

- A motion was made to take $500 to set-up an “emergency fund”

- 1st degree ceremony – Pella – April 28th at 6:30pm

- 2nd & 3rd degree ceremony – Albia – May 15th at 1:00pm

- 1,606 people served

-$ 10, 738 donated

- $5,355 expenses

- $5,383 net income
